Training - it's the key that unlocks your future!
How will you make the successful transition from task-oriented worker to manager/leader? You'll take
advantage of our extensive training program that covers all aspects of the
restaurant business. Daily learning time is 1/3 classroom and 2/3 hands-on.
You'll learn kitchen basics and counter operation, people management, facility
& equipment maintenance, money handling, record keeping, security and
sanitation.
Advanced trainees build on this knowledge by learning basic labor laws,
quality control, how to trouble-shoot equipment, write and send daily reports,
how to deal with customer complaints, robberies, workers compensation
and loss prevention.
Training
is split between an exact replica of one of YOSHINOYA's restaurants,
located inside corporate headquarters in Torrance, California, and a satellite
training store. This training program not only prepares future managers from
America, it also provides training for individuals located in other countries.
Satisfactory performance evaluations encompassing four weeks, and passing
grades on written and skill tests are all you need to
succeed.
